Talent Acquisition Director - Law Firm

Director of Talent Strategy (Law Firm)
Hybrid schedule
Base salary: $200K–$250K
A growing law firm is seeking a senior talent leader to oversee attorney recruiting, development, and retention. This individual will partner with firm leadership to drive hiring strategy, strengthen the talent pipeline, and support attorney growth and engagement.
Key Focus Areas
- Lead full-cycle attorney recruiting (partners, associates, counsel)
- Build relationships with search firms, law schools, and industry groups
- Drive talent management, retention, and succession planning
- Oversee attorney development, training, and performance
- Advise leadership on workforce planning and market trends
Qualifications
- 7–12+ years in legal recruiting/talent management
- Strong law firm and attorney lifecycle knowledge
- Established legal network (Chicago preferred)
- Proven ability to partner with senior leadership
Additional Information:
Personal Time Off (PTO) is offered on an accrual basis up to 184 hours a year, 13 Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
