About the Job This position is responsible for analyzing trends and market needs to support organic growth in existing and emerging markets. The role will provide valuable insights to support business development and innovation decision-making on customer solutions, pricing, and promotions. As a successful Market Analyst, you will have the ability to independently analyze qualitative data, identify trends, assess strategies, and evaluate competition, with the ultimate goal of enhancing competitiveness and expanding into new markets. Collecting data on customers, competitors, and the marketplace and consolidating information into actionable items, reports, and presentations. Tracking and analysis of news and public reports by market of competitors and customers. Providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making, identify market trends, and improve competitiveness. Conducting research and gathering data using various methods such as internet search, customer engagement, attendance of tradeshows and conferences and data analysis tools. Monitor, track and analyze import data of competitive and downstream products. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree required (chemistry or engineering preferred). Experience: 1-2 years' experience in technical role or business analytics required. Knowledge: technical aptitude, data analytics Skills: Strong interpersonal, marketing, and presentation skills required. Abilities: Ability to analyze marketing data, trade statistics, annual reports and provide actional insights. Behaviors: Self-motivated, analytical thinker, problem solving.
