Compensation is commensurate with experience and ranges form $80,000 - $99,000.

Litigation Legal Secretary- Employment Law


Responsibilities include :

• Prepare and format legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Process new client/matter requests.
• File legal documents with state and federal courts, both electronically and through traditional means.
• Proofread all documents to ensure accuracy and completeness before distribution or filing.
• Update and maintain client files, including electronic management systems.
• Manage attorney calendars, scheduling appointments and tracking due dates.
• Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and make arrangements for meals, refreshments, and equipment.
• Arrange travel arrangements for assigned attorneys.
• Enter, review, and revise timekeeper time entries, ensuring consistent identification of litigation codes.
• Prepare expense reimbursement requests for attorneys promptly and accurately.
• Review vendor invoices for accuracy and prepare check requests for timely payment.
• Provide assistance to visitors, paralegals, and attorneys in the absence of their secretaries.
• Handle overflow work from other secretaries as needed.
