Per Diem Retail Pharmacy Technician - Citrus Heights, California

Pharmacy Technicians needed for a per diem role serving multiple retail pharmacy locations throughout the greater Sacramento area, including Citrus Heights, CA. This opportunity is ideal for reliable technicians with a flexible schedule who can commute across the region and support a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties such as answering phones, data entry, label printing, filling and dispensing prescriptions
• Operate cash registers and manage inventory including takebacks
• Maintain effective communication and teamwork with pharmacy staff
• Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and safety protocols

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years recent experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting (candidates with less than 1 year of experience will not be considered)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license; PTCB certification preferred
• Willingness to cover multiple locations throughout the greater Sacramento area, including potential travel to Lodi and Stockton
• Updated resume, skills checklist, retail supervisor reference, and copies of credentials required for application

Schedule:

• Per diem with availability for at least 2-3 days per week
• Shifts available include days, evenings, and weekends
• Mileage reimbursement provided for travel exceeding 30 miles from home to site

This role offers a dependable revenue stream week after week and support through initial training provided by the client. Candidates with 2+ years of experience may qualify for a higher pay rate, with top rates reserved for those exceeding 4 years of experience.
