Talent Manager, Metro-Detroit Area

As a Talent Manager, you will play a key role in our ability to deliver what we promise to our customers.You will drive the culture, development and engagement of the workforce through talent management and talent acquisition activities, building and supporting a positive culture and ensuring an effective organization by:Working with plant leadership to develop a strong talent pipeline and succession plan through the execution of robust talent development strategiesProactively identifying employee development needs and work to execute methods and processes to meet the needs of the businessCollaborating with plant leadership to proactively build capacity by leveraging internal and external resources to drive change and increase capabilities of the organizationPartnering with the business on workforce planning, including recruiting strategies, organizational design, job assessment and definitionManaging performance appraisal, development and advancement processesDriving a positive workplace culture by supporting plant employee engagement initiativesOverseeing the hourly employment office, managing workforce deployment based on contractual obligations and corporate policiesSupporting the implementation and execution of our lean manufacturing methodologySupporting the development of the plant Employment staffKey experiences and Know-How:The following prior experiences will be required for someone to be successful in this role:Leading talent management activities and successfully building talent pipelinesAssessing talent gaps, creating and executing plans to close those gapsManaging recruiting and talent acquisition processesCoaching and collaborating with leaders regarding their talent needs both current and in the futureManaging manpower and headcount for organizationsUtilizing lean manufacturing tools in the context of employee developmentAnalyzing data and using data to make decisionsBehaviors of a Successful Talent Manager:Customer service mindset providing the best support possible to employees, managers and key stakeholdersFocus on the development of others, always working to support the growth of those around them and throughout the plantFocus on the future, using the shared vision of the plant to guide current developmental activities with an understanding of what will be neededInnovative and adaptable in application and execution of processes to support specific talent needs of the plantCollaborative with others in all areas ranging from the union on workforce management topics up to the plant manager on future plant capability needsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degreeMinimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources or related fieldsProficient with Microsoft SuiteExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Advanced degree in Human Resources or related fieldMinimum of 7 years in Human ResourcesExperience leading othersManufacturing experience is highly desirableBrand: FCA GroupJob ID: 2019537Employment Type: Full-timeJob Area: Human Resource and TransformationPosted Date: 29/07/2026
