Sr Design Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Design Engineer to join a dynamic metal products team. As a Sr Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing the design process for the company's projects. You will work closely with our cross‑functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet the needs and expectations of the company. Key Responsibilities Lead the design process for new and existing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including product managers, engineers, and manufacturing personnel to develop design concepts and solutions Conduct research and analysis to identify design requirements and constraints Create detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software Perform calculations and simulations to validate design concepts Develop and maintain design documentation and project files Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to team members Identify and troubleshoot design issues and provide timely solutions Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and advancements in design technology Mentor and train junior engineers on design best practices Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in design engineering Advanced experience with design software and other MS tools Strong understanding of engineering principles and design standards Experience with project management and leading cross‑functional teams Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate with a team environment Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials is a plus The company offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
