Phlebotomy Site CoordinatorLabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to join our team at 100 E. Valencia Mesa Dr. Suite 301, Fullerton, CA 92835.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm with rotating SaturdaysJob Responsibilities:Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisorsManage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logsMonitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessaryAddress any customer service-related issues in a prompt and respectful mannerPromote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkersPerform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collecting payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED or equivalentCalifornia state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT)Preferred Qualifications:Associate degree2 year or more of experience as phlebotomist1 year or more of experience supervisory roleBilingual with proficiency in Spanish and EnglishAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement.Experience managing workflow in a patient-centered environment6 months or more phlebotomist experiences pediatric patientsKnowledge of phlebotomy procedures, techniques, and role responsibilities.Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.Be at least 21 years of age and have a clean driving recordFlexibility to work overtime as neededExceptional customer serviceAt LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided with opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.Pay Range: $23.00 - $40.13 per hourAll job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
