Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting for an automotive retailer based in Bend, OR. This role supports monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting under US GAAP, including preparing workpapers, schedules, and complex general ledger reconciliations. Partners crossfunctionally on technical accounting matters such as lease accounting, revenue recognition, and new accounting standards.

In addition to close and reporting, this role supports process improvements and accounting policy development while partnering closely with FP&A and senior finance leadership. Ideal candidates come from public accounting or a large, complex private-company environment and are comfortable owning key pieces of the close and reporting process.

Day-to-Day:
• Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and reporting packages for leadership, equity stakeholders, and banking partners
• Support monthly close process and technical accounting under US GAAP
• Handle lease accounting and other complex reporting areas
• Partner closely with FP&A on analysis and reporting (approx. 25%)
• Lead or contribute to accounting process improvement initiatives (approx. 25%)
• Work directly with senior finance leadership daily, including CFO and VP-level partners

Required Skills & Experience
• CPA/CMA
- ASC 842 & ASC 805 experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3-5 years of experience
• CPA/CMA license strongly preferred
• Public accounting experience or large, complex private company exposure
• Strong understanding of:
• US GAAP
• Financial reporting & consolidations
• SOX controls
• Technical accounting (incl. lease accounting)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• NetSuite and/or Oracle experience
• Prior experience working cross-functionally with FP&A
