Overview Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) in Cambridge, Massachusetts, starting 07/28/2026 for a 13‑week travel assignment. Guaranteed 40 hours per week. Rotating shifts, typically 4×10s. Prepare the OR, equipment, and supplies; assist the surgical team; maintain sterile technique and counts. Monitor patient status intra‑operatively, manage instruments and equipment, and document intra‑operative events. Collaborate with anesthesia providers and surgeons to ensure patient safety and timely case flow. Facilitate room turnover between cases; uphold infection control standards and privacy requirements. Adapt to dynamic case schedules and adhere to unit policies and procedures. Requirements Active Massachusetts RN license; NURSYS verification showing all licenses. AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Minimum 1 year OR nursing experience. Documented travel experience; first‑time travelers will not be considered.
