Med/Surg RN in Charleston, West Virginia

Join our team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Charleston, West Virginia. This night shift role features 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend off. You'll be working on a 29-bed unit, caring for adult patients battling cancer, including those receiving chemotherapy, palliative care, and those needing family education about oncological processes. You will also encounter urology and telemetry patients, providing vital support and coordination within a supportive healthcare environment. If you have strong telemetry skills and experience with central line draws, ports, blood administration, PCA pumps, and chest tube management, this position is perfect for you. Chemotherapy administration is preferred but not required. This assignment offers an engaging mix of patient care and teamwork—think of it as a challenging puzzle with every shift.
