Accounting Specialist

Accounting Professional

We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong teamwork and communication skills. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Accounting Team, collaborate effectively with other departments, and contribute to a supportive team environment while ensuring accurate, timely financial transactions, and helping keep the company's financial operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices for appropriate documentation and correct coding prior to payment
• Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry and imports
• Print checks and obtain signatures
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports
• Reconcile bank accounts
• Prepare sales tax reports and filings
• Assist senior financial officers as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor or Associate Degree in Accounting
• At least 4-5 years of experience in accounting
• Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
• Understanding of and prior experience with Excel
• Superb time management skills, detail orientation, and teamwork
• Strong mathematical skills
