School-Based Physical Therapist
A supportive school district in the Fontana, CA area is now looking to hire a Physical Therapist (PT)for a full-time position for the 2026–2027 school year . This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse K–12 student population across a small number of nearby school sites in a collaborative and student-centered environment. Location: Fontana, CA
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract
Work Hours: 35 hours per week
Assignment Dates: 2026–2027 School Year
Pay: $50-55+/hr
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' physical therapy needs and determine eligibility for services.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals to support student mobility, physical access, and participation in the educational environment.
- Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students across a K–12 caseload.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, special education staff, and related service providers to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Experience:
- Previous school-based or pediatric physical therapy experience preferred.
Education/Requirements:
- Active California Physical Therapist License
- Graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
