By joining our Division of Driver Licensing as a Administrative Branch Manager in Floyd County, you’ll have theopportunity to serve in a key leadership role responsible for the operational oversight of five RegionalDriver Licensing offices. In this position, you will guide daily branch operations, support staff development,ensure consistent application of statewide policies, and foster a customer focused culture across multiplelocations. Summary of Responsibilities Regional Operations Management and Oversight - Oversee the supervision and implementation of all staff andprograms within the Region Branch ensuring quality customer service and efficient operations. Responsible forassuring compliance with Division and Cabinet policies and procedures. Responsible for conductingperformance appraisals, approving leave requests and timesheets. Administrative Oversight and Program Compliance - Provide administrative oversight to regional officeemployees and supervisors through accurate interpretation and application of policies and procedures asrequired by law. Ensures proper administration of the Real ID requirements and driver licenses are issued in asecure, consistent, and compliant manner. Ensures staff receive appropriate training, coaching, and guidanceto maintain compliance and operational consistency. Regional Office Facility Management and Workplace Safety Compliance - Ensures all leased regional officeproperties are properly maintained, safe, and fully operational to support employees and customers. Overseesfacility conditions, identifies maintenance needs, coordinates with landlords and central office staff, andensures compliance with workplace safety standards and regulations. Maintains proactive communication withoffice leadership to address facility concerns promptly and prevent disruptions to service delivery. Operational Analysis, Process Improvement, Administrative Reporting, Records Oversight - Analyzes branchoperations and recommends policy and procedural changes to increase operating efficiency. Requestssubordinates to research and compile administrative reports as needed and oversees the maintenance of allbranch operating records. Employee Relations and Performance Management - Reviews supervisory subordinate's recommendations fordisciplinary action, and investigates and takes appropriate measures consistent with laws, regulations,policies and procedures. Ideal candidate will have experience in Leadership experience — Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, and develop staff in a multi site or highvolume operational environment. Operational management — Experience overseeing daily operations, managing workflow, and ensuringconsistent service delivery across multiple locations. Policy and compliance knowledge — Familiarity with applying statutes, regulations, and administrativeprocedures within a public sector or regulated environment. Performance management — Proven ability to monitor performance metrics, implement corrective actions,and support continuous improvement. Customer service leadership — Experience fostering a professional, customer focused culture and resolvingescalated service issues. Communication and collaboration — Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability tocoordinate effectively with regional and central office leadership. Problem solving and decision making — Ability to assess operational challenges, evaluate options, andimplement sound, timely decisions. Organizational skills — Strong planning, prioritization, and time management abilities to support operationsacross multiple offices. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Five years of professional administrative experience. Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: A master's degree in public or business administration or a related field will substitute for one year of the required experience. Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional administrative, business or research experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE Working Conditions Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting. Minimal travel may be required.
