Common types of customer requests include contract proposals, pricing agreements, cost breakdown requests, capacity inquiries and other strategic business opportunities. The Product Pricing Analyst will also validate system costs, identify and track cost outliers and determine strategies to help improve company profitability. The Product Pricing Analyst will have the opportunity to work with other departments on a variety of company-wide initiatives.Responsibilities:Responsible for review and analysis of customer pricing proposals and Smalley’s product cost inputsDevelop sales, pricing and margin strategy as a key member of the Estimating TeamSales, pricing and contract negotiationsActively support Estimating, Sales, Customer Service, Engineering and OperationsDevelop sales and pricing strategies involving foreign affiliates and distributorsCost validationWork with key customers to complete a variety of customer documentation, including pricing letters, min/max agreements, stocking agreements, award letters, and other key commercial agreementsCustomer relationship managementProcess customer quotationsTraining, mentoring and team collaborationBachelor’s degree requiredExperience in Accounting or Finance with experience conducting data analysisAbility to extract and analyze data and make data-driven decisionsAbility to organize, execute and deliver results in a timely mannerExcellent written and oral communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft 365 with strong Excel skillsExperience using business intelligence/analytics software a plusManufacturing experience a plusMust be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basisApply today and discover the opportunities that await you!A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
