Logistics Specialist I

RealREPP, a full-service recruiting firm, is currently teaming with a growing, stable, and nationally recognized building systems expert to assist them in hiring a Logistics Specialist I in undefined, undefined. This Logistics Specialist I is responsible for coordinating and scheduling fabrication and warehouse logistics in a timely, efficient, and safe manner while supporting the Logistics Manager. The ideal candidate will be organized, safety-focused, and comfortable balancing multiple scheduling priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Schedule drivers, vehicles, trailers, and routes to ensure safe and timely deliveries of tools, fabrication materials, and equipment to assigned locations. Maintain a forward-looking delivery schedule and communicate daily updates to all drivers and associated field, operations, and job team members. Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of all logistics delivery vehicles and rented/leased trailers. Issue purchase orders and provide bills of lading for third-party delivery services as needed during high-demand periods. Ensure all logistics assets are compliant and functional, including systems such as Big Road, CellControl, Ryder, and Penske. Collaborate with internal teams to optimize routes, schedules, and delivery efficiency. Perform additional assignments as requested by the Logistics Manager. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a logistics, shipping, or receiving environment. Working knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical projects and related tools and equipment a plus. Strong data-entry and computer skills; ability to learn new systems quickly. Effective written and verbal communication skills with solid customer service focus. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to safety regulations. Highly organized and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
