Construction Project Manager

Portsmouth, NH 03801 Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and life sciences industry, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their team. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be part of the Facilities Management department supporting ongoing projects and contractor oversight. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to coordinate effectively with diverse teams, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title Construction Project Manager Location Portsmouth, NH Pay Range $55 to $60 per hour What's the Job? Provide comprehensive project management support throughout the full project lifecycle, including planning, design, construction coordination, execution, and project closeout. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within scope, and in compliance with site requirements. Review and manage project-related documentation, including SOPs, engineering drawings, specifications, and training materials. Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Facilities, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering Specialists, and Document Control to facilitate timely project execution and document management. Coordinate with Facilities Maintenance to support project logistics, scheduling, and site readiness, ensuring seamless integration with ongoing facility operations. What's Needed? Experience overseeing facilities maintenance contractors and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with client-facing teams. Preferred experience in facilities management within life science or manufacturing environments. Knowledge of HVAC systems and related tasks is advantageous.
