Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Shipping Clerk in Lockport, IL. Candidates must have an excellent job history.

This is a contract role, lasting approximately 10 weeks.

Hours: Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm Pay: $21 25/hr.

Job details:

• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
• Receive, lift, move, store, issue, count, sort, weigh, and verify items on packing slips.
• Receive and process a wide variety of incoming freight, including electronic equipment and components, hardware, customer returns for service (RMAs), and all other materials stocked.
• Compare incoming and outgoing shipments to bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records to verify information.
• Execute method of shipment based on customer request or company policy.
• Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, records shortages, and correspond with Purchasing to rectify damages and shortages.
• Maintain appropriate level of packaging material and shipping supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
• Follow all safety requirements of local, state, and federal jurisdictions.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
