Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician II, you will play a vital role in supporting the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. Your skills will be utilized to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. This position provides an opportunity to mentor junior technicians and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the team.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including conveyor belts and chains, gearboxes, sprockets, gears, 3-phase motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more, operating on 480v.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and industrial repair.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of 3-phase motors and electrical systems operating at 480v.
• Skills in welding and fabrication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with conveyor system maintenance.
• Proficiency in computer software related to maintenance tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.
