About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of supporting the next generation of successful entrepreneurial companies. The successful candidate will be the chief executive leader, responsible for the strategic, financial, operational, programmatic, and external leadership of the organization. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong entrepreneurial background, as the Executive Director will be at the forefront of program delivery, organizational growth, and community impact. Key responsibilities include providing vision and direction, partnering with the Board of Directors, and ensuring the continued strength and evolution of the organization's cohort-based programming. The Executive Director will also be the principal fundraiser, relationship builder, and external ambassador, with a focus on diversifying and expanding financial resources through various channels. Candidates for the Executive Director position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' progressive leadership experience, with a proven track record in leading an organization, business, or entrepreneurial enterprise. Strong financial acumen, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to develop and execute strategic plans are essential. The role demands a collaborative leader with excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. A background in entrepreneurship is a fundamental requirement, with a preference for candidates who have firsthand experience in building and operating a business. The ideal candidate will be a visible and compelling ambassador, with a deep understanding of the local entrepreneurial, corporate, philanthropic, and community landscape. A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, and an advanced business degree or certification in nonprofit management is desirable.
