Frequent overtime, typically on weekends, may be required based on production demands and business needs.

SWD Inc. is seeking dependable, hard-working individuals to join our Metal Finishing team on 2nd Shift. This is an entry-level manufacturing position where you'll learn how metal parts are processed, inspected, loaded, unloaded, and prepared for customer delivery.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Load and unload metal parts from production lines
• Pack finished products according to customer requirements
• Review and follow shop orders
• Perform visual inspections of finished parts
• Stage completed work for the next step in production
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe work area
• Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures
• Assist with general production and department needs

What We're Looking For:

• Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout an entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed
• Team-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail

SWD Inc. opened for business in March 1980 with three employees in a 9,000 sq. ft. leased facility and began black oxiding, cleaning, and pickling operations with used equipment.
