Systems Analyst II

The Information Technology Services Division is filling one (1) Systems

Analyst II position in the Corporate Applications section. The duties,

responsibilities, and requirements of this position include, but are not

limited to:

• Provides user support and troubleshooting for Workday ERP including but not limited to assistance with complex system functions, security access, and system configurations.
• Assists in problem and incident management activities including the creation, assignment, and monitoring of support tickets internally and with vendor support.
• Works in collaboration with business stakeholders on tasks and projects related to Workday ERP.
• Gathers, tracks, and assists in the analysis of business requirements to translate into technical solutions.
• Aids in the planning and execution of application development projects. Participates and provides support in executing testing activities.
• Maintains and updates comprehensive documentation related to developed applications, including requirement specifications, design documents, user manuals, and maintenance guides.
• Participates in various IT exercises and response events and performing other related duties as required.

Employees may have to share and alternately use a workspace(s) on their

respective onsite days. Overtime may be available and some travel may be

required. May be required to travel to different facilities to perform work. A

valid California Driver's License is required and must be maintained during

the course of employment.

Minimum requirements: Interested candidates must currently be in the

class of Systems Analyst and must have completed probation.

Candidates will be evaluated for the following work-related skills,

knowledge, and abilities:

• Knowledge and experience in supporting and troubleshooting PC hardware, software, and web-based/SaaS applications.
• Knowledge and experience in testing, supporting, and configuring various operating systems and web browsers.
• Knowledge and experience in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
• Knowledge and experience in problem-solving through analysis of technical and business solutions.
• Knowledge of project management concepts.
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices for change and incident management.
• Knowledge of Department policies and procedures.
• Strong time management, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent technical, written, oral, and verbal communication skills.

The evaluation of candidates for this position may be based on a review of

training and experience as presented on the resume/application and an

interview. Due consideration will be given to attendance records. A

performance test may be administered. A background check will be conducted,

including review of attendance records or personnel folder.
