Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join their Trusts and Estates and Business team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background, excellent research and writing skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services. Responsibilities Counsel clients on estate planning, wealth transfer, asset protection, and estate administration. Draft revocable and irrevocable trusts and other estate planning documents. Provide guidance on estate and gift tax matters, including supervising tax return preparation. Research and analyze complex legal and tax issues. Prepare and review contracts and business filings for closely‑held businesses. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve client goals. Qualifications JD from an accredited law school. 3‑5 years of experience in the trusts and estates field. Experience drafting complex estate planning documents for high‑net‑worth individuals. Solid knowledge of estate and gift tax rules. Experience with estate and trust administration. Experience with business formations and corporate transactions is desirable. Strong writing ability and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain client relationships. Education JD from an accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction. Skills Strong research and writing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
