Infrastructure Engineer (Network Services)

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
• We require at least 2 years of network operations experience.
• We expect operating knowledge in one or more infrastructure engineering areas, such as software-defined networks, zero-touch provisioning, SD-WAN, fabric switching, Wi-Fi, and network security technologies and practices.
• We require proficiency with specific network infrastructure technologies and programming languages, such as Python or Ansible.
• We expect strong knowledge of one or more infrastructure disciplines, including hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessment.
• We require experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in infrastructure engineering workflows, with careful validation and awareness of data sensitivity.
• We expect the ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation, escalate uncertainty, and ensure outcomes meet resiliency, security, and auditability expectations.
• We require knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies, including the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds.
• We value a commitment to developing knowledge of additional infrastructure domains, data fluency, and automation.
• We prefer experience with wired and wireless LAN, BGP WAN, SD-WAN, and 802.1x technologies from vendors such as Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Fortinet, and Forescout.
• We value initiative, efficient task management, willingness to seek guidance, and an ability to contribute to solutions and improvements with some supervision.
• We expect strong communication skills and the ability to convey ideas and challenges clearly and precisely.
• This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act; an offer is contingent on our review of criminal conviction history, including pretrial diversions or program entries.

• We apply technical knowledge and problem-solving methods to projects of moderate scope, improve data and systems operating at scale, and ensure end-to-end monitoring of infrastructure and applications.
• We use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support monitoring, capacity analysis, and documentation, validating outputs and handling operational data according to its sensitivity and security requirements.
• We resolve most issues and determine the appropriate escalation path.
• We use established approaches to break down technical problems while considering upstream and downstream data, systems, and applications.
• We drive daily activities that support standard capacity process applications.
• We partner with application and infrastructure teams to identify potential capacity risks and oversee remediation statuses.
• We make significant decisions for projects involving multiple technologies and applications.
• We use reuse-first, AI-assisted approaches to identify recurring capacity risks and improve remediation workflows, validating changes against resiliency and security expectations.
