Welding Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to lead and coordinate daily welding operations in our manufacturing facility in Bay Shore, New York. The Welding Supervisor will oversee a team of welders and fabricators, ensuring production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met. This role requires greatleadership skills, technical welding expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement. salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of welding and fabrication personnel.
• Assign work, monitor productivity, and ensure production schedules are achieved.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate welding team members.
• Ensure all welding work meets company quality standards and customer specifications.
• Inspect completed work and address quality concerns promptly.
• Enforce safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality departments to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance when needed.
• Maintain accurate production and employee performance records.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, workflow, and product quality.
