Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic Salary: $35 - $40 per hour Responsibilities Perform regular inspections on machinery and systems to detect malfunctions. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues efficiently. Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure longevity and optimal performance. Collaborate with the engineering team to understand machine operations and layouts for effective maintenance. Maintain a record of all maintenance and repair work for future reference. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks. Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment. Provide recommendations for improvements and upgrades to existing machinery and systems. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical troubleshooting and repair. A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred. Exceptional problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the industry. Solid understanding of blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
