About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a mid-to-Senior level Project Scheduler. This is a full-time, salaried direct position and does require on-site presence in El Paso, Texas.

As a professional with Gaea Global, you will be part of the team that will be a key part of a large Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management implementation, training, and project controls using Primavera. You must have a detailed understanding of developing and maintaining project plans in a complex engineering & construction environment. You will analyze impacts to project, Impact Analysis, clarify dependencies, constraints, assumptions, evaluate and administer scope change requests. You will formulate and write detailed functional specifications from customer requirements. You will also recommend, and design solutions based on Oracle Primavera suite, to solve construction and engineering management problems from an owner’s perspective. You will be utilizing your knowledge of Construction Management and marrying it up with data analysis to solve problems around Project scheduling, resource, labor and materials management, Risk and Issue mitigation. Finally, you will provide ongoing project management & construction management knowledge to our clients.

Responsibilities

• 5 years of experience working in a mid-to-senior level Scheduling and Project Controls role with some prior leadership experience preferred.
\n
• Proven expertise utilizing Primavera P6.
\n
• Prior and recent experience working within a Data Center Construction environment required.
\n

Description:

\n
• Provide continuous, dedicated support of new product and program schedule development, including collaboration with engineering, design, and delivery partners during product development.
\n
• Develop and maintain End-to-End ("E2E") and/or site schedule templates for various products across the New Build, Leased and Retrofit Portfolios.
\n
• Ensure availability, accuracy, reliability and consistency of End-to-End ("E2E") and/or site schedule Primavera 6 (P6”) schedule data for BI pipeline consumption.
\n
• Collaborate across multiple cross-functional teams within Meta (Site/Pre-con/Program) to bring alignment and provide updates on schedule/template development.
\n
• Develop training documentation and handover plan for transition of End-to-End ("E2E") and/or site schedules from Program Team to Site teams'/site schedulers.
\n
• Will include additional milestones/activity tracking to allow program to adjust their program level schedules and assist with future designs
\n
• Create schedules/fragnets, tools, and presentations to assist and drive discussions across multiple cross-functionals.
\n
• Consult and inform cross-functional partners regarding new data center design and products.
\n
• Assist with what-if scenarios pertaining to construction, design.
\n
• Detailed analysis of mechanical engineering plumbing (“MEP”) design.
\n
• Support with analysis and data points needed to support speed to market goals as needed.
\n
• Support design, engineering, and construction (“DEC”) cross-functional teams during capacity planning (“MCP”) cycle with planning and pre-con projects schedule coordination.
\n
• Coordination of continued design and pre-con scopes during execution phase (example connectivity) within infrastructure data center (“IDC”) and DEC teams and keeping Site teams updated.
\n
• You will analyze impacts to project, Impact Analysis, clarify dependencies, constraints, assumptions, evaluate and administer scope change requests.

• You will formulate and write detailed functional specifications from customer requirements.

• You will recommend, and design solutions based on Oracle Primavera suite, to solve construction and engineering management problems from an owner’s perspective.

• You will be utilizing your knowledge of Construction Management and marrying it up with data analysis to solve problems around Project scheduling, resource, labor and materials management, Risk and Issue mitigation.

• You will provide ongoing project management & construction management knowledge to our clients.

Qualifications

\n
• A bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or construction management or a related field preferred; Or equivalent years of work experience.
\n
• At least 5 years of experience assisting or building P6 schedules.
\n
• Prior experience scheduling within a Data Center environment is highly desired.
\n
• Prior experience within an Electric Utility is also highly desired but not required.
\n
• Prior experience in the Commercial or Civil Construction industry also accepted.
\n
• Experience in field planning and progression.
\n
• Education and/or knowledge working in Primavera v6.2+.
\n

Required Skills

\n
• Advanced knowledge and experience utilizing Oracle Primavera P6.
\n
• Knowledge and experience with SQL and Data Analytics.
\n
• Ability to read single line diagrams (SLD) and build program Cx schedules.
\n
• Able to understand BMS/Control requirements for commissioning.
\n
• Able to map out Mechanical Cx plans by understanding mechanical/HVAC drawings.
\n
• Experience in leading and collaborating with cross functional teams.
\n
• Understanding of construction management, engineering processes and flowing from engineering design, process mapping and engineering data structures.
\n
• Basic understanding of 'Critical Path' method and tools used to compute CPM.
\n
• Understanding of project costing and management concepts.
\n
• Strong analytical skills.
\n

Preferred Skills

\n
• Some prior leadership experience.
\n
• Mentoring from a Master or Senior Scheduler.
\n
• Prior experience scheduling within a Data Center environment.
\n
• Prior experience within an Electric Utility.
\n
• Prior experience in the Commercial or Civil Construction industry.
\n
• PMI Certification is not required but strongly preferred.
\n
