Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and organized Scheduler Coordinator to join our team. This position will work closely with other members of the clinical and administrative teams to coordinate and schedule hospital procedures and assist with the day-to-day scheduling needs.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, organized, and comfortable communicating with patients, hospital staff, providers, and internal team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule hospital procedures and other procedures.
• Work closely with a team to ensure procedures are scheduled accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate with hospitals, providers, patients, and staff regarding procedure scheduling.
• Confirm procedure dates, times, locations, and other necessary details.
• Help coordinate required documentation and information prior to scheduled procedures.
• Follow up on scheduling requests, changes, cancellations, and rescheduling needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling information.
• Assist with authorization, pre-procedure, and administrative coordination as needed.
• Communicate schedule changes promptly to the appropriate staff and departments.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service to patients and healthcare partners.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all applicable policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bilingual
• Previous healthcare, medical office, scheduling, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
• Professional and courteous demeanor.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare scheduling is a plus.
