Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health nursing and be capable of providing exceptional care to patients in our facility. This position is suitable for first-time travelers.

Schedule

This is a 3x12 hour night shift position, from 19:00 to 07:30.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients from the Emergency Department and external referrals meeting admission criteria.
• Utilize seclusion and manage voluntary/involuntary commitments effectively.
• Implement aggressive management techniques as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory services, and social services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a behavioral health setting required.
• Current Certification in Aggressive Management preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Must hold a valid Maryland or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
