Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Join our team at Merwick Post Acute. We are seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate, hands‑on care to residents in our Sub‑Acute and Long‑Term Care facility. Compensation Hourly rate: $19.50 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience and incentives). $4,000 sign‑on bonus for new full‑time hires. Shift differentials: $1.00 for 3:00 PM‑11:00 PM and 11:00 PM‑7:00 AM. Full‑time only: waive all benefits for an additional $5.00 per hour. Schedules Full‑time, part‑time, and per‑diem opportunities. Standard shifts: 7:00 AM‑3:00 PM, 3:00 PM‑11:00 PM, 11:00 PM‑7:00 AM. PRN: any 8‑hour shift, with one weekend per month required. Responsibilities Provide basic resident care under the direction of licensed nursing staff. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens. Ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met. Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff promptly and accurately. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well‑being. Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high‑quality, resident‑centered care. Qualifications Current, active, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of employment. Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification. Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented healthcare environment. Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to high‑quality resident care. Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
