You’ll work closely with a supportive SLP team, serving a single school site for consistent collaboration and engagement with students, educators, and families. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
• Virginia SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before August start date)
• Previous experience in a school-based environment preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for multidisciplinary teamwork
• Commitment to supporting diverse student needs in elementary and middle grades

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy for students with speech and language needs
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student progress
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
• Provide consultation and resources to classroom staff as needed

Position Highlights:

• Contracted assignment from August 17th through May
• Standard school schedule, up to 37 hours per week—no weekend or evening work
• Single school assignment for the academic year
• Opportunity to work alongside an experienced team of four SLPs for support and mentoring
