Travel Nurse RN – ICU – Lima, Ohio TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU RN for a 13‑week travel assignment in Lima, Ohio. Specialty: ICU – Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts Employment Type: Travel Job Description As an ICU travel nurse, you will evaluate and monitor patients in a life‑threatening environment, document and provide physician‑directed care, assess and implement patient care plans, delegate to other care providers, and provide education and support to patient families. Responsibilities Provide basic bedside care. Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication; report any adverse reactions. Order and evaluate diagnostic and laboratory tests. Take samples for lab work and interpret results. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment; interpret and record electronic displays. Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing. Communicate patient conditions to families. Qualifications RN licensure. 1–2 years recent acute or ICU experience. ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications (required); additional certifications may be required before assignment. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and handle hazardous exposures.
