TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU RN for a 13‑week travel assignment in Lima, Ohio.

Job Description

As an ICU travel nurse, you will evaluate and monitor patients in a life‑threatening environment, document and provide physician‑directed care, assess and implement patient care plans, delegate to other care providers, and provide education and support to patient families.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication; report any adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic and laboratory tests.
• Take samples for lab work and interpret results.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment; interpret and record electronic displays.
• Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing.
• Communicate patient conditions to families.

Qualifications

• RN licensure.
• 1–2 years recent acute or ICU experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications (required); additional certifications may be required before assignment.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and handle hazardous exposures.
