Team Leader

Position Overview The Team Leader contributes to the success of the company by assisting in the daily operations of the restaurant. The Team Leader’s responsibilities include directing restaurant operations in the absence of the General Manager/Assistant Manager while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation. They handle issues with team members, food suppliers, and guests directly, escalating when necessary. Key Responsibilities Provide supervision during assigned shifts. Provide team members and guests with a positive experience and atmosphere. Manage both FOH and BOH shift responsibilities to help manage daily labor controls and costs. Monitor speed of service to ensure a positive guest experience. Assist with guest comments and complaints. Supervise daily shifts to ensure company standards, product quality, and cleanliness are maintained. Assist in ongoing training of team members, including new hires and existing staff to ensure company procedures and processes are followed. Encourage adherence to uniform policy and standards. Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed. Open and close the restaurant in the absence of upper management. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
