Indirect Subcontract Administrator – Level 2/3 (Contractor)A leading organization in the aerospace industry is seeking an experienced Indirect Subcontract Administrator – Level 2/3 (Contractor) to support complex subcontract management and strategic procurement. This role focuses on high-value components, long-term supplier agreements, contract negotiations, and milestone-based statements of work.Contract Length: 5 months Location: Huntsville, AL; Melbourne, FL; or Kent, WA Work Setup: On-siteIndirect Subcontract Administrator ResponsibilitiesAdminister the full lifecycle of complex subcontracts, from RFP and award through performance management and closeout.Lead procurement of large components and fabricated structures, including cryogenic tanks and pressure vessels.Negotiate and administer Long-Term Agreements (LTAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), terms and conditions, pricing, and performance frameworks.Develop and manage milestone-based SOWs, deliverables, payment schedules, and acceptance criteria.Conduct proposal evaluations and cost/price analyses while supporting long-lead procurement and supply continuity.Partner with Engineering, Quality, Legal, Contracts, and Program teams to resolve supplier performance, schedule, scope, and compliance issues.Maintain subcontract documentation and support audits, reporting, and regulatory requirements.Indirect Subcontract Administrator QualificationsCritical QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Level 2: 3+ years of subcontract administration or procurement experience.Level 3: 5+ years of subcontract administration or procurement experience.Experience administering complex subcontracts and long-term agreements.Strong terms and conditions negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.Experience with milestone-based SOWs and performance-based payment structures.Proficiency with ERP/procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Coupa.Indirect Subcontract Administrator Preferred QualificationsAerospace, defense, or highly regulated manufacturing experience.Procurement experience involving large fabricated assemblies, cryogenic tanks, pressure vessels, or major structures.Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and ITAR/EAR procurement compliance.CPM, CPSM, NCMA CFCM/CPCM, or equivalent professional certification.The Indirect Subcontract Administrator will play a key role in managing strategic supplier relationships, contractual risk, cost, schedule, and performance for critical aerospace procurements.Prescreen QuestionsDescribe your experience administering subcontracts for large components or major structures—such as cryogenic tanks, pressure vessels, or large fabricated assemblies.
