About the Position

Job Title: OR RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10.0 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: - Two (2) years of operating room experience required. - Experience in a level 1 trauma hospital preferred. - Experience with cataracts, retina, glaucoma, cornea, and pediatrics required. License: - RN License (Client License ONLY) Certifications: - BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - ACLS (Preferred) Must-Have: - Able to scrub and circulate in the operating room. Description: Using a multidisciplinary approach, the operating room staff cares for patients of all ages. The role involves both scrub and circulating responsibilities. Candidates must possess an RN license specific to New York state. A minimum of two years of experience in the operating room is required. Experience in a level 1 trauma setting is highly desired. The ability to scrub and circulate is essential. Candidates should have specific experience with cataracts, retina, glaucoma, cornea, and pediatrics. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required, with ACLS being preferred. Responsibilities include on-call duties for evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
