Part-Time Assistant Teacher

Responsibilities Welcome and supervise children in a safe, nurturing environment. Assist teachers with classroom activities, routines, and transitions. Engage children through play, learning experiences, and positive interactions. Support arrival, before-care, snack, outdoor play, dismissal, and end-of-day routines, depending on assigned shift. Maintain clean, organized classrooms and common areas. Use positive guidance techniques to support children's social and emotional development. Work collaboratively with teachers and administration to ensure smooth daily operations. Assist with light cleaning, sanitizing, and classroom preparation as needed. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with young children is preferred but not required. Friendly, reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Schedule Choose one of the following consistent schedules: Morning: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–10:00am Afternoon: Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–6:00pm Additional hours may be available based on enrollment and staffing needs, with opportunities for future full-time employment.
