Medical Laboratory Scientist I – Auto-Chemistry Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX Metroplex Industry: Diagnostic Pay Range: $29.50 – $34.00 per hour (Plus shift differentials!) Currently recruiting for a Medical Laboratory Scientist I specializing in Auto-Chemistry, welcoming candidates ranging from entry-level to experienced professionals. Job Responsibilities Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, processing, test analyses, result reporting, and record maintenance. Maintain records demonstrating that proficiency testing samples are tested identically to patient specimens. Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures. Review and release test results accurately. Comply with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and all applicable safety guidelines. Follow established policies and procedures when test systems fall outside acceptable performance levels. Identify and correct problems affecting test performance or reporting or immediately notify senior technologists/supervisors. Qualifications Education: BS/BA in Chemistry or Biochemistry is required. Work Experience: 1 year of clinical experience (high complexity testing) in Auto-Chemistry.
