Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and professionally at check-out
• Schedule follow-up appointments and provide patients with necessary documentation
• Collect co-pays and process payments accurately
• Verify and update patient information in the electronic medical records (EMR) system
• Answer patient questions regarding appointments, billing, and procedures
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Maintain a clean and organized check-out area
• Perform other administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in a medical office setting (preferred)
• Knowledge of insurance verification and EMR systems a plus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
