Requirements Phoenix Children's is looking for 3-5 experienced NNP's to join their team in Phoenix! Dates of Coverage: Oct 2026 - Jan 2027 possibly on-going Schedule: In-house 24-hour 12-hour day or night shifts 9-hour day shift. Would prefer 36-48 hour/weeks Patient Population: Critically ill neonates in a Level IV NICU no delivery service Care Setting: 100 inpatient Patient Volume amp Provider Coverage: 60-bed NICU Day coverage: 6 providers Night coverage: 3 providers Patient assignments are divided among providers and adjusted based on patient acuity. Unlike many children's hospitals that utilize multiple APPs for call coverage our physician staffing model allows for shared workload distribution. Trauma/Facility Designation: Level IV NICU Required Clinical Skills amp Procedures: Endotracheal intubation Umbilical arterial catheter UAC placement Umbilical venous catheter UVC placement Lumbar puncture LP Chest tube placement PAL peripheral arterial line/stick Management of critically ill neonates including patients with neurological surgical cardiac and complex multisystem conditions Electronic Medical Record EMR: Sunrise Clinical Manager Please note: Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 daysAre Temps Available? No Travel: Flights: Up to 750 Lodging: 150–200 per night lower cost preferred Car rental: 55/day plus fuelMileage: IRS standard rate Rates: Malpractice - to be included in rates Orientation - 1/2 the hourly rate Hourly - per hour worked OT/Holiday Rates - 1.5x the hourly rate Conversion Fee: 15k rate cap
