As an Allied Universal Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors through strong communication and customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thu 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter spaces to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts when appropriate, and support a professional environment for patients, guests, and healthcare personnel. Communicate with staff and supervisors regarding incidents, policy concerns, and/or maintenance‑related issues that could impact daily operations at the location. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 6 months of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
