About the Role

The Company is seeking an SVP, Global Procurement and Supply Chain to be accountable for the development, implementation, and execution of global procurement and supply chain strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the organization to meet company-wide goals and business objectives through clear goal setting, operational steering, and execution. This role requires ensuring that sourcing and procurement strategies align with the broader organizational goals, particularly in collaboration with P&L leaders, commercial, product development, R&D, and other stakeholders. The SVP will also be tasked with building strong relationships with R&D and operations, driving collaboration and innovation, and maintaining strong executive relationships with global suppliers. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, operations management, or a related field, with a Master's or MBA preferred. A minimum of 15 years' experience in procurement and supply chain, with at least 7 years in a leadership role within a complex global manufacturing environment, is required. The ideal candidate will have a background in complex manufacturing, such as automotive, mobility, aerospace, or defense, and possess excellent strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen. Strong negotiation skills, deep financial acumen, and experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and TQM are essential. The role demands an outstanding leader with a track record of building high-performing teams, driving change management, and the ability to inspire and unify teams in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
