Palletizer 1st Shift

PalletizerShift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Location: Fairfield, Ohio Position Overview PrideStaff is currently seeking a reliable and physically capable Palletizer to join a local production team. As a Palletizer, you will play a key role in the production process by ensuring the smooth and safe flow of raw materials and finished goods. You will work independently to accomplish plant tasks assigned by the Plant Manager while maintaining a close, collaborative relationship with the Machine Operator.Key Responsibilities Material Handling: Manually place dunnage rolls on skids and utilize equipment to move raw materials and finished products efficiently. Production Support: Collaborate with the Machine Operator to ensure efficient Dunnage production. Quality Control: Proactively monitor for defects in raw materials and finished products; notify the Machine Operator or Supervisor immediately if issues arise. Workflow Management: Label pallets accurately and follow proper lifting techniques at all times. Facility Upkeep: Maintain a clean, hazard-free worksite to prevent issues with chemicals or fragile products. General Duties: Assist with miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management.Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language. Must be able to perform manual labor, including lifting and transferring heavy loads. Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs (dead weight) consistently. Strong communication and teamwork skills.Preferred Qualifications 12 months of previous manufacturing experience. Ability to quickly detect and resolve potential problems with materials or products. Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (appropriate safety gear will be provided).Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Ability to work in varying conditions, including heat and cold. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, perform overhead lifting, and engage in common physical movements required for the role.
