Maintenance Associate

Job TitleCompensation: $18.00/hourSchedule: 40 hours/week; A typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm; schedule may vary in hours depending on needs of the business. These include, but are not limited to: escalator, elevator, conveyors, HVAC, boiler, irrigation system, sprinkler system, generators, aquarium, restaurant equipment, and landscapingBe knowledgeable of all equipment and tools, and how to use them properlyBe a good teammate and assist other associates with any task as necessaryPossess the physical ability to perform the tasks of a maintenance associateHave the ability to work independently and problem solveEducation & ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of an associate's degree from a 2-year college or technical school, or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Physical Requirements/Lifting RequirementsMust be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation. Very heavy work – Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Scheels cares about the health and safety of our Associates.
