The Welder - Fabricator at SDC We need a detail‑oriented individual who is reliable and hard‑working to assist in day‑to‑day welding and operations in our shop. Why Join SDC? What You’ll Do Weld fabrications using MIG/TIG on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel using SDC’s in‑house weld shop. Cross‑train and learn waterjet cutting center and basic milling machine center operations for welding preparation and secondary operations. Also participate in other duties, including operating press brake. Maintain workspace cleanliness and weld‑shop equipment maintenance and repair as necessary. Requirements Ability to weld fabrications using MIG/TIG on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. Provide your own specialty tools or toolbox, if needed, in addition to provided equipment. Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Willingness to support overtime, as needed.
