About the Role:

Walter Pine Floral Design is looking for a creative and passionate Part-Time Florist to join our team in Philadelphia, PA! This is a fantastic opportunity to bring beauty to life through stunning floral arrangements while working in a collaborative and inspiring environment. Responsibilities:

• Design and create floral arrangements for a variety of occasions including events, weddings, and everyday orders
• Assist customers in selecting flowers, arrangements, and add-ons to meet their needs
• Receive, process, and properly store fresh flower inventory to maintain quality
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing shop floor and workspace
• Process customer orders accurately, including in-store, phone, and online requests
• Monitor and replenish floral supplies and materials as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships

Requirements:

• At least 1 year experience in floral design 
• Strong eye for color, composition, and Walter Pine floral design aesthetics
• Strong understanding of the types, varieties and seasonality of flowers
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible part-time hours, including weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift floral supplies as needed
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Knowledge of flower care, handling, and seasonal availability is a plus
