Requirements

• Licensed dental hygienist

Licensing: Valid state license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
Clinical Skills: Strong proficiency in dental terminology, patient assessment, and medical imaging.
Pediatrics: Experience or training in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.

Job Description

Clinical Excellence: Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and oral health assessments for a diverse patient base, including pediatric patients.
Advanced Assisting: Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during complex procedures, maximizing efficiency and patient comfort.
Patient Education: Empower patients with the knowledge they need for proper oral hygiene and the importance of preventive care.
Diagnostics & Monitoring: Perform medical imaging (Radiology) and monitor patient vital signs as necessary to ensure safe treatment.
Documentation: Maintain precise, up-to-date medical records and review documentation for accuracy prior to patient visits to ensure compliance.
Safety & Sterilization: Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a pristine clinical environment.
Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the wider dental team to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patients unique needs.
