Financial Assistant (Payroll)

$16 - $18 per hour

:
Enter payroll hours and relevant information regarding staff payroll
Update daily cash journal, allocations, and other spreadsheets
Manually post payroll to general ledgers and other spreadsheets
Ensures timesheets are correct
Record annual leave
Balance cash accounts in general ledgers
Prepare and process sales tax refund semi-annually
Prepare bank interest income and service charge for entry
Reconcile gift fund account and other accounts as needed
Create reports using accounting software system
Assist CPA with audit
Assist Finance Director as needed
Prepare bank deposits
Willing to cross train with Accounts Payable and serve as the backup person
Serve as primary/secondary relief to the reception clerk during lunch breaks and absences
