Location: Maryville, Tennessee

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room experience required
• Active Tennessee RN License required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• First-time travelers will be considered based on skills and experience

Required Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS
• NIHSS
• CPI
• PALS

Preferred Certification

• TNCC

Schedule

• 3x12 Night Shifts
• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekend coverage required (typically every other weekend, subject to department needs)

Required Skills

• Emergency patient assessment and triage
• Critical care and emergency response
• Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• IV therapy and medication administration
• Trauma and acute care management
• Rapid patient stabilization
• Electronic documentation using Epic

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Tennessee. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality emergency care to patients with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries while working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
• Deliver emergency nursing care to patients with medical, surgical, and traumatic conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Collaborate with emergency department staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to all patient safety, quality, and infection prevention standards
