Our organization is actively looking for full-time Internal Medicine Clinician Educators to become part of our practices located in Manhattan.

The Department of Medicine, led by Dr. Aaron Glatt, MD, MACP, comprises nearly 400 professionals, featuring a robust hospitalist program and outstanding subspecialists. Under the guidance of Dr. Steven Weiss, there are 39 Internal Medicine Residents who will transition to a brand-new, state-of-the-art outpatient facility at the conclusion of the academic year. This teaching clinician role will focus on ensuring a high-quality and exceptional outpatient experience for the residents, with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, without any hospital care obligations. Weekend in-house coverage is not required, but there are opportunities for moonlighting for those interested. More experienced candidates may have the chance to take on roles such as Associate Program Director or site director at the new facility.

The selected individuals will collaborate with the prestigious Icahn School of Medicine. Our Department of Medicine is dedicated to holistic patient care, emphasizing a patient-centered approach. The division aligns with the mission of the Icahn School of Medicine by adopting an integrative strategy towards patient care, research, and education. We believe these three components are interconnected and essential to the practice of medicine. Candidates will be eligible for an academic appointment based on their previous roles and clinical expertise.

• Engage in a community-based teaching practice affiliated with a university
• Leverage the educational, research, and clinical resources of a nationally recognized Medical School

• Provide outpatient care exclusively to adult patients, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
• Utilize a fully integrated Electronic Health Record system
• Work alongside additional support staff

• Medical Degree from an accredited institution
• Valid New York Medical License
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
• Dedication to serving our organization and the communities we support
• Strong communication skills, excellent bedside manner, and organizational abilities
• A robust work ethic and a commitment to being part of a team-oriented, performance-driven healthcare system

Compensation ranges from $240,000 to $280,000 (excluding bonuses, incentive compensation, or benefits).

Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, collections, and community needs.
