Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,381 per week in Bakersfield, CA

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Bakersfield, California, 93301!

Key Responsibilities
Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and develop individualized care plans
Implement and coordinate care delivery, employing strategies to promote health and maintain a safe environment
Evaluate patient progress toward outcomes and identify goals specific to each patient's situation
Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver care in a safe, healing, and compassionate environment
Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and provide health education to patients and families
Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members using critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
Required Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
Minimum of two years of recent ICU/acute care nursing experience
Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) experience required
EPIC EMR experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
Strong critical thinking and independent clinical judgment skills
