Occupational Therapist (School-Based) – 4-Month Contract | $65/hr | Seattle Area

Start Date: August 31, 2026 Hours: 37.5 per week Openings: 2 Contract Length: 4 months (extension possible) Setting: School – Moderate to High Support Needs Students

Position Overview

The Occupational Therapist (OT) will provide school-based therapy services to students with moderate to high support needs. This role includes conducting evaluations, developing individualized plans of care, delivering therapy services, and documenting progress in alignment with district and professional standards. This is a leave-replacement assignment for the 26/27 school year, with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive student evaluations and assessments

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

• Provide direct OT services to students with varying support needs

• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families

• Document services and progress according to district and regulatory requirements

• Participate in IEP meetings as needed

• Maintain compliance with all professional and ethical standards

Minimum Requirements

• Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of practice

• 1 year of OT experience preferred (school experience strongly preferred)

• Compliance with all professional standards of practice

• Current CPR , if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as required)

• Current Health Certificate (per contract/state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older

Compensation

• Local OT Rate: $65/hr
